You can't help but love Kehinde - and everyone who has ever worked with her in the music industry feels exactly the same. She is seriously professional about what she does and she knows everyone in the industry who is anybody (or knows someone who does!). Kehinde is incredibly talented with music and musicians and really gets songs. She is also a one-off, a fabulous woman who has never lost her mile-wide streak of individuality.
Alan Edwards /// CEO, Outside Organisation

Kehinde is what we in the business call a diamond. She fits into the "new model". In any company very well - Many companies these days may need a person to fit into their professional set up for 6 months or so to fill a professional position, represent the company well and get a job done. When it comes to songs and publishing -Kehinde has been an invaluable source of knowledge. We at KKMC and ATC have used her again and again for a wide range of projects and most recently Rumers project benefited greatly from Kehinde's music publisher knowledge.
Kwame Kwaten /// ATC & KKMC

I have worked with Kehinde for over 12 years in the music industry and have found her to be a highly creative individual, with good natural instinct. She is reliable, trustworthy and she possesses great communication and networking skills…all attributes that I feel are needed to be an all round executive. It’s been a pleasure to work with her. “
Mike Sault /// Director of A&R, Warner/Chappell Music

Kehinde has been there for me since the beginning of my journey in the music biz and has been both incredible professionally and as a friend to me!! Starting off as an artist with EMI records then songwriter, producer and record label owner DJ etc.. I have always been involved in so many different styles of good music and artists to which Kehinde has been one of the few that can understand true artist development, move with the times and be ahead of what is developing in the music scene both commercially and from the underground scene and clubs. Its all about character and relationships in this industry and Kehinde has the best of both. I hope we can keep working together for many years to come.

about

Kehinde Olarinmoye started her career in the music business at Atlantic records (formerly East West Records) in '93 where she won a placement in the press department. This was a 6-month Government funded YTS (Youth Training Scheme) programme called Sight And Sound.

During the 6-month period, Kehinde developed her taste for Hip-Hop and she was able to feed her appetite with albums by ‘Dr Dre’, ‘Snoop Dogg’, ‘Tupac’ and other artists on the Death Row label. Manoeuvring herself into another division of the Warner Music Group under the same programme, but this time within the music-publishing arm, Warner/Chappell Music Ltd. This provided the opportunity to get to know the catalogue, expanding her knowledge and taste for music.

With constant contact with the A&R department Kehinde established a strong relationship with Head Of A&R, Sas Metcalfe, who greatly appreciated her opinions on the bands they had signed or were about to sign. Unbeknownst to her this would be the beginning of her providential career because in May of 1994 Sas offered Kehinde the position of assistant to the head of A&R and two A&R managers.

The positions key role was as a scout finding the latest trends in music. During that time she brought in the then 15-year-old female singer/songwriter Shola Ama who had signed to WEA, releasing 2 albums for them following the success of her single, a cover of the Randy Crawford song “You Might Need Somebody”.

In September '97 Kehinde was promoted to an A&R manager where she continued with enthusiasm to sign and work with the front running singer/songwriters and writer producers during the period of 1997-2008. She signed acts like Adam F, Lynden David Hall, The Magic Numbers to mention but a few.

Whilst at Warner/Chappell Kehinde managed a roster that consisted of: Shola Ama, Adam F, Lynden David Hall, Curtis Lynch Jr (Red Rat), Lucas Secon (Sugababes/ Pussy Cat Dolls) The Magic Numbers, The Twang, Vula (Basement Jaxx), Hellogoodbye, Johnny Douglas (George Michael/ All Saints/ Kylie Minogue), Howard New (Lucie Silvas), Mel Blatt (All Saints), Darren Martyn, Valentina, Chris Braide (Will Young)

Since leaving Warner/Chappell in 2008, Kehinde has been involved with product placement with two fashion brands, Puma and Religion, which opened her to the world of branding, cementing the current importance of synergising brands with artists.

Setting up her own company, K T Management Consultants in early 2009 and more recently Last Born Music she provides a service within the world of entertainment, now working directly with the artist/songwriters and is again totally immersed in the music which is in her heart.

Hired to work with ATC Managed artists including Rumer, Kehinde was very instrumental in securing her a major publishing deal. Also working on the ‘The Score’ for ATC she co-ordinated the project by sourcing songs and producers for their album. Alongside this work, the prestigious PR firm, The Outside Organisation, hired Kehinde to work within the Music division to develop ‘New Business’ opportunities as well as working with their existing clients.

Kehinde is a multi faceted Music Industry Professional who’s networking skills are something of a gift that enables her to connect and utilise beyond most boundaries. With outstanding industry contacts and access to artists, publishers, songwriters, PR and brands.
